About Karl Operle

He served as both a member and then as president of his condo board. He subsequently renovated a farmhouse in the historic district of Herndon, Virginia. He also lived and renovated homes in both Silver Spring and Takoma Park. He has owned and lived in homes in Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland. Also included in his real estate experience were purchases of a home in Lewes, Delaware, a house on the water in southern Maryland off the Chesapeake Bay, and a home in Sanibel Island, Florida. His extensive personal experiences and history have given Karl a unique perspective and an eye for evaluating the potential and reality of a purchase. Karl’s dedication to his vocation includes his education at a Graduate REALTOR® Institute, the Center for Dispute Settlement course, and Mediation for the Professional. He has also served on the Grievance Committee of his local Real Estate Association.

Karl’s experiences outside of real estate include volunteering for Montgomery Hospice, teaching English as a second language, and well boys’ basketball.

Karl has enjoyed a unique perspective and view of capital life from the Potomac River on his crew team. Karl enjoys hiking, writing, gardening, and, of course, traveling and meeting people of different backgrounds and perspectives, seeing and experiencing new topography, and tasting new cuisines. He enjoys spending time with family, friends, and his rescue dogs, Marie and Plato.
