Top Pumpkin Patches A Short Drive Away

Rekindle the nostalgia of fall with a visit to a local pumpkin patch. Delight in the fall foliage and smell of spiced apple cider while picking a pumpkin and tasting seasonal fall treats. Our favorite has to be cider donuts! These local pumpkin patches are sure to please with activities for the whole family. Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill’s 32nd Annual Pumpkin Patch | Through October 31st

3606 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA 22304

The pumpkin patch offers all sizes of pumpkins grown by Navajo farmers, from small hand-held “spookies” to very large pumpkins for jack-o-lanterns; prices start at $1 and go up based on size. Also for sale are beautiful gourds, delicious home-made soups and baked goods, and autumn/Halloween-themed crafts.

Fall Pumpkin Harvest Festival | Through October 31

Great Country Farms, Bluemont, VA

Come celebrate Fall Y’all and enjoy an unforgettable experience picking pumpkins, getting lost in their corn maze, and roasting marshmallows at the bonfire. Don’t forget those freshly made cider donuts!

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Butler’s Orchard and the 45th Annual Pumpkin Festival! This popular event features hay rides and pumpkin coach rides, corn mazes, giant slides, bonfire sites, corn hole, and more – all included with admission. Fall goodies like apple cider donuts, kettle corn, and pit beef are available for purchase. This family farm produces over 25 varieties of plants and produce, so don’t forget to stop by the Farm Market! You even have the option to pick your own pumpkins

Since 2008, Mike and Adrianne Dunn have turned their farm into a hotspot of fun with attractions like a thrilling corn maze and a festive pumpkin patch. With roots dating back to 1673, Montpelier Farms boasts a rich history. This year’s Fall Festival includes “Spookley the Square Pumpkin” Corn Maze, hayrides, petting animals, pig races, pumpkin bowling, Hay-n-Play, hill slides, and so much more.
