Marta began her journey in real estate after serving in the military post-college and has called the Washington, DC Metropolitan area home for over 30 years. Since 2005, she's been dedicated to helping clients navigate the real estate market. A seasoned Realtor, Marta excels at negotiating on her clients' behalf, ensuring they achieve their goals whether they're buying or selling. She takes pride in building strong relationships, matching buyers with their ideal homes, and facilitating smooth transactions.
Marta is certified in Broker Price Opinion (BPO), Military Relocation Program (MRP), and is an Accredited Buyer Specialist (ABR). Her commitment to clear and consistent communication is central to her approach, guiding clients through every step of the real estate process.
In addition to her work as an agent, Marta shares her knowledge by hosting free seminars for future homeowners through the Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA), helping families from all backgrounds make informed decisions.
Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Marta moved to Northern Virginia and has since become deeply connected to the local community. Her daughter attended Fairfax County Public Schools and graduated from the University of Michigan. Marta remains involved in local schools and serves as a high school gymnastics judge in Virginia as well as USA Gymnastics judge. Her strong ties to the area give her in-depth knowledge of Northern Virginia, from school districts to commuting programs.
Before real estate, Marta worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Pfizer, where she enjoyed blending research and communication. Her passion for helping people ultimately drew her to real estate, where she received expert training with Long and Foster. When she's not working, Marta enjoys spending time outdoors, savoring good food, and watching sports, particularly gymnastics.
