Prior to real estate, Phyllis worked for the Governor of Illinois from 1979 to 1984 in the Press Office in Springfield, Illinois and then came to the DC area to manage the Illinois Washington Office and work on Financial Institution, Banking, and Business issues.
As a resident of the Northern Virginia area for 35 years, Phyllis has practiced real estate in the area for 32 of them. She is personally coached by the #1 real estate coaching company in the country and has a great passion for the ever-changing real estate industry.
Phyllis's listings sell on average at 97% of their asking price and within 32 days on the market. In her spare time, Phyllis has served on several Boards at Bethany Lutheran Church, volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Simple Changes Therapeutic Riding Program, is a member of the Mt. Vernon/Lee Chamber of Commerce, is a past President and member of the Symphony Orchestra League of Alexandria Board and was a Trustee of the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra Board.
