We did our utmost to make the home buying experience challenging for Miriam – especially as we were buying a home from overseas (and sight unseen). Fortunately for us, Miriam made it seem like no challenge at all! Miriam’s knowledge, experience, promptness, and flexibility provided a foundation for success given our circumstances. Many nights were occupied by FaceTime home tours and Zoom document reviews. Miriam made it feel normal and easy! In addition, we truly appreciated her levity and sense of humor – something that was well received given the circumstances. Miriam asked me many questions about what I was looking for. Then unlike other realtors only showed me houses that fit my needs. By doing this I found the house I was looking for in 3 days. Then Miriam negotiated me a great price and guided me through the process from beginning to end. She even stopped by after closing to make sure I was settled and happy with my purchase. As first time home buyers, we had warned by others about how strenuous the process could be. Although looking back now, I do not know what they were talking about. The role of a proper realtor is to make the home buying process as easy as possible and that's exactly how our experience was with Miriam as our realtor. She handled each step with such professionalism and poise. She listened to each of our wants and needs for a house and found us the perfect one. When issues arose with the paperwork and sellers, she fixed all issues without needing to get us involved.
