About Katia Reecer

Katia has been happy to call the DMV her home for the past 20-plus years with her husband, Geoff, her daughters, Sofia and Gabriela, and their pup, Max. Growing up abroad as a Navy brat who moved houses often, she had the privilege to experience the beauty of different cultures, both in European and Latin American countries. At a very young age, Katia learned the wonderful value of having a home where one can create lifetime memories. She always loved going to open houses as a child, imagining the possibilities of the transformation that might occur once her family moved in. The right home gives the opportunity to lay roots and build a strong foundation with family, friends, and community through shared experiences, meals around tables, or (Katia’s favorite) cooking together in the heart of the house: the kitchen.

 

As an adult, Katia has spent many years following her passions in design, cuisine, and helping others. Prior to becoming a chef and joining her family bakery/cafe and farmers market business, Katia spent over 25 years in the home and design industry as a buyer, visual design merchandiser, retail manager, and home stager. She is also a certified life coach and loves to help others attain their goals. 

 

After shifting her career to part-time for several years to focus on raising her beautiful family, Katia is now thrilled to resume pursuing her passions as a realtor with McEnearney Associates.

 

With hard work and creativity, and bringing her professional experience to the table, she looks forward to helping her clients find homes where they can create a lifetime of memories.
