Erika bought her first property in Arlington in 1998 and has been fascinated by the uniqueness of the real estate in this area ever since. Erika is a lifelong resident of the DMV and has lived in Northern Virginia since 1997. From the condo she purchased in her 20s to the family house she currently lives in, she truly enjoys the process of finding that right-fit home.
Erika has a keen eye for the possible. She believes that success is helping individuals and families find properties in neighborhoods that speak to them, suit their needs and that they are proud to call home. She will get to know you, advocate on your behalf, and negotiate effectively so that you will be confident in one of your biggest life decisions and largest investments.
Erika has a degree in Education from Indiana University and taught elementary school for 10 years before taking time off to be with her family. She returned to teaching at a local preschool, where she had 7 joyful years of fine-tuning her negotiation skills with her 2-year-old class. Erika has been a longtime volunteer at Waynewood Elementary, where she served on the PTA board for 2 years. Additionally, she tutors children in math because she firmly believes that there is power in confidence as well as in skill. The Olsen family is deeply involved with Fort Hunt Lacrosse where her children play, her husband coaches, and although Erika is the only one who cannot catch a ball, she is their biggest fan.
Erika believes that there must be people living happily all over the country, but there is no reason to leave Alexandria in order to confirm that. Contact her today to begin your journey.
