For our buyers and tenants, for whom it is sometimes impossible to tour properties in person, our exclusive #HomePreviewVideo is accompanied by candid commentary that neither photos nor video alone can provide - specifically: smells and sounds. This practice proved successful for clients living outside the DC Metro Area, who made their decision to purchase their #UrbanCastle based on the video and commentary. Brett is the neighborhood expert of choice in DC’s 16th Street Heights, where he has lived since 2009, and has been instrumental in forging strong relationships between Uptown Farmers Market and the community. He has also formerly served as co-chair for the Community Alliance for Upper Fourteenth Street (CAUFS), on the Board of Directors for Uptown Main Street, and is a loyal sponsor of Uptown Farmers Market as well as the performing arts program at West Education Campus. He also takes great pride in heightening favorable exposure for neighborhood businesses.

Having grown up in San Diego, Los Angeles, Tehran, and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, he is an alumnus of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa where he earned a B.A. in Communications. Prior to joining Corcoran McEnearney, he spent a quarter century providing strategic communications counsel to a variety of Fortune 500 companies, elected officials, and start-ups.
