With a focus on building continuity – combined with a competitive spirit – he has, along with his partner Peter Pejacsevich, built one of the most successful brokerages in Middleburg.

Scott, native Alexandria, and Peter created Atoka Properties as a luxury real estate team with sales over $90M and then expanded to become brokers themselves in 2009 with the acquisition of the Middleburg Real Estate brokerage, which was founded in 1939 and is one of the most recognizable names in Hunt Country Real Estate. The company merged in the summer of 2023 with McEnearney Associates to become one of the leading independent real estate companies in the greater Washington, DC area, expanding their presence to 16 offices across Virginia, Maryland, DC and West Virginia.

Leaning on his previous history in the automotive industry as a Service Director and GSM who grew his team with a focus on continuity, tireless work ethic, practical experience and customer loyalty, Scott attracts and coaches agents who want to serve their clients in the most collaborative way they can. He believes an entrepreneurial spirit combined with consideration, caring and a winning attitude is one of the best formulas for success and he champions all who work under the MRE/Atoka – and now McEnearney – brand.

And as a certified Car Guy, you can still find Scott up to his elbows in renovating classic cars and tinkering with parts when he’s not enjoying Hunt Country Living with his family, his #1 passion.
