About Rengin Morro

As a Doctor of conflict analysis and resolution, she is an expert in solving problems with creative solutions! As a Turkish-American immigrant, negotiation is second nature to her. Rengin has excellent communication skills, is extremely organized, and possesses a positive, can-do attitude. She is reliable, hard-working, conscientious, honest, resourceful, courteous, and collaborative. As an immigrant and an educator of conflict resolution, Rengin understands how to skillfully engage with diverse, multicultural, and multi-ethnic communities and teams.

 

Prior to her career in Real Estate, Rengin established herself as a political and financial risk analysis expert, foreign affairs professional, and an accomplished and pragmatic manager who worked to support U.S. Government efforts in counter-terrorism. Her career has been about anticipating and preparing for potential problems and heading them off before they arise. Rengin’s past experience is key to helping you create a seamless strategy to make your dreams a reality. Prior to her career in government, Rengin was a manager in international finance working in European, Asian, and American markets. Rengin values and has a strong track record in community engagement and volunteer work. Rengin has been a member of Rotary International all her adult life and served in various positions nationally and internationally. Rengin has lived in Northern Virginia for 20-plus years and has served our community in various volunteer positions. Currently, she serves as a board member of the Herndon-Reston Rotary Club as well as a board member of Friends of Reston. Previously. As a resident of Reston, she was Reston Association Neighborhood Advisory Committee Co-Chairwoman between 2010 and 2015 and a member of the Reston Association Community Engagement Advisory Committee from 2015 to 2018. In addition, she served as a member of the Parent Advisory Council for the Reston YMCA between 2013 and 2015. She was also a member, then Secretary, of the Herndon Theater Boosters at Herndon Middle School from 2017 to 2019.

 

Rengin lives with her husband, daughter, and cat in Herndon. She is an avid runner and enjoys cooking, reading, writing, and traveling.
