Get to Know Me
With an M.A. in urban studies from Loyola University of Chicago, Susan entered real estate from a community service background with a strong focus on affordable housing issues. Originally from Iowa, she has lived in Arlington since 1981.
Susan has worked as staff and a volunteer for many non-profit organizations. She has served on the Arlington County Citizens Advisory Commission on Housing, the board of the Arlington Housing Corporation, now AHC, Inc., and the Arlington League of Women Voters. Her children attended Arlington public schools, and she co-chaired the Drew Model School Association.
In addition to working with clients, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband and partner, Mitchell Schneider, their children, and friends, as well as gardening and activities relating to her love of Italy--reading, cooking, and, as often as possible, traveling.
