Kate's professional work is fused with her love for Alexandria and its residents. She and her husband, John, put down roots in Braddock Heights 25 years ago and have formed lasting bonds with the community. She loves introducing people to a city with strong historical, aesthetic, and cultural charm. She likes to say it's a place where houses are homes and neighbors care for one another. Kate is on the Board of the North Ridge Citizens Association and has been active with The Twig, the Alexandria City Public Schools, and her boys' service and athletic pursuits. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and walks around North Ridge and Old Town.
