I love being a Realtor! I believe that home ownership is an important part of the American dream and represents a proud achievement for almost every homeowner. I grew up in an Air Force family which moved often in the U.S. and abroad, so owning a home was a goal my parents reserved for their retirement. They bought their first home when my father was 42. I bought my first home when I was 22 and have bought and lived in many homes since that time. Over time, I also became a real estate investor and learned first-hand that a good Realtor is your best partner in charting a path to financial success in this complicated and ever-changing business.
After successful careers in both the public and private sectors, I decided to use my experience as a dedicated homeowner and investor to start a second career and become a full-time, full service Realtor. I offer my clients the highest level of competence, care, and committed service. I treat each client as if he or she was my only client and I place a high value on open and frequent communication. I am a good listener and will tell you what is happening or, alternatively, that there is nothing to report!
The real estate market is not static; it changes every day as local, state and national economies change, as neighboring homes come on or go off the market and as markets shift from sellers' to buyer's markets and, more occasionally, balanced markets. In addition to evaluating data generated by local, state and national media, I participate in both mandatory and voluntary continuing education classes to stay abreast of current critical issues or regulatory or practice changes so that I can offer my clients the most up-to-date, competent advice and guidance. When working with sellers, I offer excellence in pricing, presentation/staging, marketing and advertising, contract negotiation skills and the ability to close the deal. When working with buyers, I offer my knowledge of the local market and local community, access to financing, a purchase strategy, contract negotiation skills and an ability to close the deal. Many of my clients are first time homebuyers and I love working with members of the armed services. Recognizing the stress that comes with buying and selling a home, my goal is to make the home buying and selling process stress-free and productive no matter what local market conditions prevail. I am proud of the fact that my previous clients have become my friends and continue to refer their family, friends and associates to me. My business is now based on these referrals and I will never be too busy for yours!
