Get to Know Me
Since 1988, Mitchell has helped hundreds of buyers and sellers over the years, finding huge satisfaction in doing so. Each year, about half of his clients are new, and half are returning friends.
He believes strongly in the benefits, personal and financial, of owning real estate. "It was never my life's ambition to be an agent," he says. "But when I bought my first house and experienced the advantages myself, it seemed to me that everyone should do this. So I really feel committed to helping clients get comfortable with the whole process."
Milwaukee-born and raised in Boston and San Diego, Mitchell studied literature at the University of California and Johns Hopkins University. Outside work, he likes to garden, read good books, relax, and travel with his wife and partner, Susan Sarcone, their children, and friends. He enjoys classical vocal music and has served as a board member of Washington Concert Opera and the Eclipse Chamber Orchestra.
