What can I say - Cindy and Craig are truly the Dynamic Duo! They perfectly balance each other with combined decades of real estate and property management experience. In an internet era when some might think real estate agents don't provide as much value as they used to, Craig and Cindy proved the opposite to be true! And we're so happy we trusted them with one of the most important financial decision of our lives! Like many others during the COVID era, we decided it was time to upgrade. But that meant buying in an insane market. Every morning, we would keep an eye on listings, and text Cindy as early as 7am to schedule an appointment before that day's slots were filled. She responded instantly, and we saw many hot homes literally hours after they were listed (and shortly before they were snatched up!). Meanwhile, Craig gave us invaluable advice on the build quality of various listings, and whether many inflated prices were really worth it. They quickly understood what we were looking for, and what it would take for us to win bidding wars without overpaying. And when it came time, even with us scanning the listings daily, it was THEM (not us) who found our dream home. We can literally say we wouldn't be living in it if it hadn't been for Cindy and Craig. When it came time to sell, they were again the perfect team and we trusted their judgment completely. Thank goodness we did. Both were voices of reason for what needed to be fixed to get us the best value back. They had the connections with excellent contractors, who gave us fair prices and did great work. They were there to meet deliveries (we had already moved out), and verify the quality of services performed. But not only that - Craig PERSONALLY power-washed our brick walkway and patio and repaired a damaged doorway, while Cindy planted new bushes in the backyard. I mean, WHOSE AGENTS DO THAT?!?! Buying and selling a house can be an emotional roller coaster. But we were so happy to have Cindy and Craig in our corner. In a span of only three months, they were practically members of the family! I have only words of praise for the Clemmer & Schuck team. Cindy helped me buy my adorable Del Ray bungalow around 2007 , and when I was getting ready to get married, she helped me sell the house with significant profit in 2013. Finally, when my husband suddenly passed away, she and Craig Shuck helped me sell my husbands Arlington townhouse in early 2020, in 3 days for $13,000 over the asking price, right when the Covid 19 pandemic was hitting and everything was closing down. To say Cindy and Craig go the extra mile isn’t adequate. They literally came over and cleaned up parts of the house when I couldn’t be there (did I mention I was trying to manage selling the Arlington, VA house from Dallas, TX!), and Craig met the roofers for me in my absence. From their years in the business, they also have an invaluable rolodex of amazing workers — from painters, roofers, deep cleaning companies to screen door repair people (who can fix it the day before open house!). Cindy and Craig are extremely knowledgeable about the market, and honest about pricing options. They work with you on that aspect based on how much you are willing (or able) to put into your property to get it on the market. And, they give great advice when it comes to contract time. I can’t speak highly enough of the Clemmer & Schuck team and the FULL service they give their clients. I will only use them to buy and sell in Northern Virginia!

Cindy has had a positive impact in my life on two occasions. Hey Cindy - I just wanted to write to say what a great pleasure it was working with you. "General Contractor Clemmer" doesn't even begin to describe how easy you made the process of getting our home ready for sale. We wanted to do several upgrades to the townhouse before selling it, and you did it all, from getting us quotes, to arranging workmen's schedules, etc. All we had to do was choose colors of paint & carpet, and choose one of the contractors you recommended, then of course, to reimburse you for your out of pocket costs. We did not have to lift a finger in order to get our house in the best shape possible. You could not have made it easier for us!!! And I couldn't imagine anyone being more on top of things!!! You kept us informed every step of the way and then some, just enough to be well-informed, but not burdened by details. Cindy, Francisco and I would like to thank you for your superb work in selling our condo in Marina Towers. Living in Indiana made it difficult for us to handled the Virginia property as a rental. Once we made the decision to sell, you helped us tremendously by getting the unit updated & ready to put on the market. You didn't just sign a listing agreement to sell the property, you took on the added responsibility of finding us the right contractors and service providers, worked with suppliers to select tile, granite counter tops, kitchen appliances, refinish parquet floors, install carpet and much more...always keeping in constant contact every step of the way with information, prices and pictures. Once all selections were made, you worked closely with contractors and the building to ensure the work got done quickly and correctly. And last but not least you staged the unit with your own accessories & furniture in order to give the condo a "personal" touch.
