About Katie Stowe

Katie wants every client to experience a high level of customer service and communication from her. Whether you are buying, selling, or renting a home in Northern Virginia, Katie makes your needs, success, and happiness her number one goal.

Her interest in real estate began years ago when she and her husband bought their first home in Washington, D.C. They have since purchased investment properties and moved several times, strengthening Katie’s valuable knowledge and expertise, which she enjoys sharing with her clients. Going above and beyond to assist them with one of life’s most important decisions and investments is what she enjoys most.

Katie holds the distinctive Military Relocation Professional and Pricing Strategies Advisor Designations that set her apart from her peers. As the spouse of a State Department Officer, she has personally spent 14 years living overseas in five different countries, strengthening her ability to be flexible, adaptable, and sensitive to the unique needs of different ethnicities and cultures.

The guidance she offers her clients is very clear and concise. Katie is open, transparent, and informative in all types of scenarios, from where to live to rent vs. buy, and selling vs. renting out a home. No matter what your circumstances or how tight your timeframe, she will make your transition and transaction as smooth as possible.

Originally from Washington State, Katie holds a B.S. in Sociology and an M.S. in Statistics for Policy Analysis from American University. She worked for several years for the American Institute of Physics as a social science researcher, as well as at the US Embassies in Amman, Jordan, and Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Katie lives in Vienna with her family and their cat Pinkie, whom they brought with them from Jordan. She is active in the PTA at her children’s schools, plus she enjoys travel, hiking, and photography in her spare time.

Giving Back

I believe strongly in giving back to the community and that one of the best ways to get assistance to those who need it is to give to the local schools.  That is why, for each transaction, a donation is made to the local public school system.
