Celebrate the holiday season in downtown Bethesda with Santa Claus, live ice sculpting, live music, face painting, games, and more! Please bring a new toy for Toys for Tots.
Annapolis Holiday Market | December 12 – 15
The market will be filled with a wide range of art, crafts, food, and handmade gift items from local and regional art, craft, and food vendors. This type of holiday market is also known as a Kris Kringle Market or Christmas Market.

53rd Annual Alexandria Scottish Christmas Walk Parade | December 7, 11 AM – 1 PM
King Street, Old Town Alexandria
Alexandria, founded in 1749 by Scottish merchants, was named after Scotsman John Alexander. Today, the city celebrates its heritage with the iconic Scottish Christmas Walk weekend. Corcoran McEnearney is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s parade featuring Scottish clans dressed in colorful tartans, pipe and drum bands, community groups, and plenty of pups. 24th Annual Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights | December 7, 5:30PM
Old Town Alexandria Waterfront
Old Town Alexandria’s historic waterfront will shine for the 24th Annual Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights, as dozens of brightly lit boats cruise along one mile of the Potomac River shoreline. Enjoy dockside festivities in Waterfront Park including a pop-up beer garden from Port City Brewing Company, food, activities, and more.
Christmas in Middleburg Parade | December 7
